H. A. Flowers Scholarship Endowment

This endowed scholarship was established by Dr. Alan Flowers and Tommy Flowers to honor their father Hubert A. Flowers. H.A. Flowers was the long time head of the physical education and athletic programs. He was also the basketball program’s first coach. Recipients of this scholarship shall be full-time students who will be Juniors or Seniors during the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded. Further, priority shall be given to students with financial need who are majoring in physical education and preparing to teach at the Elementary or High School level.
