TVA Retiree Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by the Tennessee valley Authority Retiree Association in 2014. Preference will be given to the immediate family (i.e. individual, spouse, child, grand-child, step child, or step grandchild) of a member of the Muscle Shoals Chapter of the TVA Retiree Association who is current in paying all dues and fees owed to the Association. Recipients of the scholarship must have a minimum 2.8 GPA. It is the donor’s intent for applicants to submit an application containing community/school involvement, submit an essay on TVA’s influence on the individual, their community, state or the nation (no more than 800 words in length), note any advance classes taken, and three recommendation letters (family members excluded). The TVA Retiree Association will also award a separate award of $100 to the student selected.
