Margie Rose Looney Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by Colonel Milton A. Looney, AUS, Retired in memory of his wife, Margie Rose Looney. Recipients shall be graduates of Athens High School, enrolling as freshmen at the University, who have indicated an interest in pursuing degrees in the College of Business or in the Anderson College of Nursing. If there are no students who qualify, then second priority shall be given to students from West Limestone County High School have indicated an interest in pursuing degrees in the College of Business or in the Anderson College of Nursing. Preference shall be given to applicants with a C average, who may not otherwise qualify for financial assistance based upon scholastic merit. Selected by the Office of Admissions.
