Marcella Lakebrink Bennett Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established to honor Ms.Marcella Lakebrink Bennett. Ms. Bennett is a 1979 graduate of the University of North Alabama. Among other things, Marcella received the distinguished Keller Key award, was listed in Who’s Who Among Students in America’s Colleges and Universities, was active in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and was a member of a number of academic honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi. Also, she served on the Inter Presidents Council, Panhellenic Council, and Inter Residence Hall Council. Further, Marcella was a Golden Girl providing invaluable service to the University by contributing many hours of voluntary service meeting and greeting distinguished guests at the University and helping to host various campus events.
Recipients of this scholarship shall be full time students enrolled in the College of Nursing.
