Shoals India Endowed Merit Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by the Shoals India and South Asian Association. Recipients of this scholarship must be classified at least as a junior and will be enrolled at the University of North Alabama as a full-time student for a minimum of one or more academic years and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. The student who apply for this scholarship must be a citizen of the United States. Preference will be given to first generation students. Applicants must demonstrate interest in India and/or other countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Preference given to students who demonstrate interest in India and/or other countries as listed above through a class project (research paper, presentations, and/or through study abroad service activities).
