Shoals India Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established by the Shoals India and South Asian Association. Recipients of this scholarship must be classified at least as a junior and will be enrolled at the University of North Alabama as a full-time student for a minimum of one or more academic years and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. The student who apply for this scholarship must be a citizen of the United States. Preference will be given to first generation students who are interested in global issues. Applicants must demonstrate interest in India or other countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, or other countries through a class project (research paper, presentations, and/or through study abroad service activities).
