James H. Tanner Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was established to honor the late James H. Tanner. Recipients shall be full-time students who have demonstrated potential for success and financial need. Preference first shall be give to student athletes who either are no longer eligible for athletic scholarship support or who are pursuing a graduate degree. If in a given year, such candidates are not available, then preference shall be given to students majoring in science such as biology, chemistry or physics. Each scholarship is for one academic year only. Prior recipients may reapply for this scholarship during subsequent years.
